Frequently asked questions.
What is your helicopter flight cancellation policy?
If we’re unable to fly due to poor weather conditions, there will be no charge—and we’ll do our best to reschedule your scenic flight for the next available day. For cancellations made within 24 hours of your departure time, a 50% cancellation fee will apply, along with a credit card transaction fee if applicable. No-shows or cancellations without notice will be charged the full fare, plus a 2% transaction fee.
What if the weather is not good on the day of our flight?
We will make a weather call to all clients on the day prior to their flight. Should the weather dictate that we are unable to complete your chosen trip, we will offer to take you on an alternative flight if it is suitable or move your booking to another available day and time.
Are your helicopter flights private or will we share with others?
All of our helicopter flights are private, meaning you’ll only be flying with your own group and won’t be sharing the helicopter with other guests.
What should we bring?
We recommend wearing comfortable covered shoes and bringing warm clothing, including a jacket, as temperatures can vary throughout the day. Don’t forget your camera or phone for photos, along with sunscreen and sunglasses.
Where do our flights depart from?
Our flights depart from our hangar at 256 Eighty Eight Valley Road, Wakefield. If preferred, we can also arrange pickup from your private lodge or nearest airport for added convenience, though additional costs may apply.
Can I arrange a custom tour?
Yes, you can absolutely arrange a custom tour. Just have a chat with one of our team when booking and we’ll help tailor the experience to suit your needs.
Do your helicopter tours have set times?
No, there aren’t fixed departure times — we can tailor flight times to suit you where possible.
